Cutting and layering. The minimum gluing of the 2 planes allows the appearance of shadows emphasizing the edges of the outer "flower". These shadows accentuate the dialogue between the whites of the paper and the blacks, and are part of the work.
The black shapes are monotypes. The paper used for the 2 plans is Japanese Awagami paper.
